Petals of Vulnerability

In your brokenness you are the most beautiful sight I have ever seen
Petals of vulnerability and tenderness
Reveal lines of grief and weathered storms upon your cheek
Oh these are the places that my love desires to be
Please don't hide the pain, why hide?
Don't wear a smile when you hurt inside
Pour out rivers of tears until the current carries you back into the ocean's arms
Let your heart tremble and ache as it mourns
Remove the veils of illusion and get to know the deepest parts of you
Like a caterpillar, dissolve into a formless puddle of soul
When you finally feel it all and come completely undone....
Surrender spirals your entire being into the mystery
Only here in the womb of the Universe will you be reborn
As the cavern walls glitter with deep pools of compassion
I kiss the constellations of wrinkles upon your skin
